On June 28, Lei Xianwu, the head of the fifth round guiding group of the theme education of "Don't forget the original aspiration and keep the mission in mind" of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, and Wang Pu, Secretary-General of the Beijing Oubien Alumni Association, visited Tomorrow Advancing Life Group to investigate the work of the Oubien Alumni Association of Tomorrow Advancing Life, and held talks on the theme education work of "Don't forget the original aspiration and keep the mission in mind". Party members of Tomorrow Advancing Life Group and members of the Oubien Alumni Association attended the symposium.
At the symposium, Wang Pu said that the purpose of this investigation was to strengthen the connection between the Beijing Oubien Alumni Association and the Oubien Alumni Association of Tomorrow Advancing Life, and to understand the difficulties encountered by returned overseas students in Beijing, in order to enhance the internal driving force of the Oubien Alumni Association and to better help and serve overseas students in Beijing.
Wang Mian, deputy secretary of the Party committee of Tomorrow Advancing Life Group, welcomed the arrival of the investigation group, and introduced the basic situation of Tomorrow Advancing Life Group and the work situation after the establishment of the Oubien Alumni Association of Tomorrow Advancing Life. Relevant responsible persons of the Party committee and the Organizational Development Department of Tomorrow Advancing Life Group expressed their opinions and suggestions on how to "bring in, keep, use and develop" the returned overseas students. Members of the Oubien Alumni Association of Tomorrow Advancing Life, Wu Jundong, Xu Shubei, and Zhang Meng, each talked about their feelings and put forth some constructive suggestions for their work at Tomorrow Advancing Life Group. The investigation group carefully listened to their opinions and helped them solve some practical problems on the spot.
Wang Pu thanked Tomorrow Advancing Life Group for its support of the work of the Beijing Oubien Alumni Association, and expressed that the Beijing Oubien Alumni Association will give more guidance and help in the future for member information exchange, career development, and playing to individual strengths.
After visiting Tomorrow Advancing Life Group and listening to the speeches at the symposium, Lei Xianwu fully affirmed Tomorrow Advancing Life Group and hoped that the Oubien Alumni Association could unite, lead, and serve the returned overseas students, so that they could make a more positive contribution to realizing the Chinese dream and achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
The Oubien Alumni Association of Tomorrow Advancing Life was established on March 19th of this year. Tomorrow Advancing Life Group is also the first educational enterprise to establish an Oubien Alumni Association, and currently has more than 700 returned overseas study staff. After more than three months of establishment, under the care of the Beijing Oubien Alumni Association and the guidance of the Party committee of Tomorrow Advancing Life Group and the support of overseas students, the Oubien Alumni Association of Tomorrow Advancing Life has continuously improved its work mechanism, striving to move towards the goal of "being a talent pool for overseas study, a think tank for advising, and a civil diplomacy force".
