As a strategic partner of the project, the 100tal Public Welfare Foundation will work together with the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation to jointly support the construction of "beautiful campuses" in national poverty-stricken counties. Vice-Secretary-General of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation Wang Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Mabian County Committee Chen Jinsong, Minister of Propaganda Zhou Qimei, Director of the Education Bureau Li Ling, and representatives from the 100tal Public Welfare Foundation, including Qin Luxiao, jointly unveiled the "Beautiful School" project. The "Beautiful School" project, initiated by the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation and the Mabian Yi Autonomous County with the strategic support of the 100tal Public Welfare Foundation, mainly focuses on four aspects: "good principal," "good teacher," "good classroom," and "beautiful campus." Vice-Secretary-General of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, Wang Jun, stated, "The construction of 'beautiful schools' in Mabian County requires the joint efforts of multiple parties to fully utilize their strengths and comprehensively support the educational development in Mabian." Mabian County is located in the margin of the Sichuan Basin and is one of the concentrated contiguous areas of extreme difficulty in the Wumeng Mountain area, belonging to a national deeply impoverished county. In recent years, under the strong guidance of the state in promoting educational informatization, almost all schools in the compulsory education stage in Mabian County have achieved full coverage with the "Class by Class" program. However, due to the remote location and inconvenient transportation in Mabian County, it is difficult for high-quality educational resources to reach there, resulting in uneven distribution of educational resources within the county. Additionally, the teaching level of the teachers needs improvement. In the past six years, although the county government has continuously increased investment in education, the relative scarcity of teaching resources has posed a serious challenge to the educational development in Mabian County. During the meeting, Deputy County Mayor of Mabian, Chen Jinsong, remarked, "The arrival of the 100tal Public Welfare Foundation is like a 'timely rain.' We hope that the 100tal Public Welfare Foundation can help Mabian County overcome the difficulties in resources, shortage of teaching staff, and low teaching standards, and bring new light to the children in Mabian through the power of technology." The "Internet + Education" is promoting the co-construction and sharing of high-quality educational resources, and advancing the fair and balanced development of education. The platform integrates high-quality recorded courses from the 100tal's Xueersi Online School, intelligent courseware from the Xueersi question bank, as well as high-quality teaching resources such as QK365, Lihua Egg, Brain Science, and Aiqidao skills-related popular science videos, providing comprehensive subject and educational support to Mabian, allowing Mabian teachers and students to access high-quality resources. On the morning of the 9th, Qin Luxiao, representative of the 100tal Public Welfare Foundation, introduced the operation method of the "Hope Online" platform to over 30 project leaders of the "Beautiful School" project in 25 schools in Mabian County. Mabian teachers were pleasantly surprised, "We didn't expect that the test papers and exercises from schools across the country could all be found on the 'Hope Online' platform. These high-quality resources are exactly what we need." In response to the difficulty of the Yi ethnic minority preschoolers in Mabian County in speaking Mandarin, the 100tal Public Welfare Foundation has introduced the "AI Teacher Mandarin Teaching" system independently developed by Xueersi Online School for preschoolers. This system deeply integrates technologies such as speech recognition and speech evaluation, enabling real-time intelligent evaluation and correction of children's pronunciation, providing strong support for Mandarin learning for preschool children in Mabian. **Training of teachers in informatization** The training of teachers in informatization literacy is also an important means of support for educational development in Mabian by the 100tal Public Welfare Foundation. On the afternoon of the 9th, Lin Xu, a member of the 100tal Livestreaming Cloud team, conducted an information technology training for Mabian teachers, covering the importance of information technology literacy, how to use the livestreaming cloud platform, and practical operations such as basic PowerPoint production and statistical analysis in Excel. The information technology training was highly valued by Mabian teachers, with each teacher taking careful notes and actively demonstrating their learning achievements. Peng, deputy director of the Education Bureau office, said, "These skills training are very practical for Mabian teachers and will improve teaching quality and efficiency in the future. The literacy training in informatization has brought new development opportunities to schools and new hopes for student development." **Dual-teacher classrooms to support balanced educational development** To solve the problems of scarce teaching staff and uneven distribution of educational resources in Mabian, the 100tal Public Welfare Foundation has set up "dual-teacher classroom" equipment in Mabian County Minjian School. On the 10th, Cui Yongliang, a teacher from the Smart Education Division based in Beijing, successfully conducted the first online training for over 30 teachers in Mabian through "dual-teacher classrooms". Cui Yongliang has extensive teaching, research, and training experience in education. His humorous and engaging training style allowed teachers to initially understand the research and education system of the 100tal, as well as advanced educational concepts. In the future, the 100tal Public Welfare Foundation will continue to gradually improve the teaching and research capabilities of Mabian teachers through teacher training, select and cultivate a group of seed teachers for Mabian County, and, through "dual-teacher classrooms," realize the transition from "blood transfusion" to "self-sufficiency." The "seed teachers" will drive the development of village-level teachers, gradually forming a system of teacher growth, and promoting a virtuous cycle of educational development in Mabian. Poverty alleviation starts with empowering intelligence, and education is an important means to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty. The 100tal hopes to deepen the implementation of the guidelines of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on deepening the reform of education and teaching to comprehensively improve the quality of compulsory education, place importance on teaching methods, promote the deep integration and application of information technology in education and teaching.
