Under the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, more people chose to spend more time learning online, accelerating the sustained growth of the education category brand value. Statistics from the China Internet Network Information Center show that as of March 2020, the scale of online education users in China reached 423 million, an increase of 110.2% compared to the end of 2018.

Bai Yunfeng stated that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought higher attention to online education, but the opportunity is still for the prepared teams. TAL began exploring online education in 2009. It is the continuous investment in the field of technology by TAL over the past decade that enabled the stable operation of the online education system and ensured a good learning experience for children during the pandemic. TAL also provided free live courses for students in primary and secondary schools nationwide through platforms such as Xuexi Qiangguo and China Media Group Mobile, and achieved good results.

"In the new era, user needs and insights are constantly evolving, but love and technology will undoubtedly make education better," said Bai Yunfeng.
