Recently, the award ceremony of the "Outstanding Teachers and Students Incentive Program for Junior High School" (hereinafter referred to as the "Incentive Program") jointly launched by TAL Education Group and Jimunai County was held in Jimunai County, Xinjiang. The Incentive Program offered a total of 100,000 yuan in rewards, and 32 outstanding teachers and students from the Jimunai County Junior High School, which is supported by TAL Education Group, received the awards. Pan Huafeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Jimunai County Committee and Secretary of the Education Work Committee, Watehan Erles, Director of the Jimunai County Education Bureau, Wang Haizhen, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Jimunai County Junior High School, and relevant personnel from the Jimunai County Education Bureau's Teaching and Research Office and the TAL Charitable Foundation attended the event.

This Incentive Program is also an extension of TAL Education Group's three-year support plan for Jimunai County. In September 2017, under the guidance of the China Development Research Foundation, TAL Education Group and Jimunai County jointly signed the "Donation Agreement for TAL Education Group to Support the China Development Research Foundation in Implementing the 'Smart Village School - Education Equity Enhancement Program' in Jimunai County, Xinjiang".
Over the past three years and more, TAL Education Group has provided 430 classes of junior high school and senior high school courses, as well as quality expansion courses, Weclass AI English courses, and teacher training courses through the "Dual-Teacher Classroom" system, benefiting over 2,000 students and 600 teachers in Jimunai County.
To further consolidate the existing support achievements, in April this year, the TAL Charitable Foundation, in collaboration with the Xueersi brand under TAL Education Group, signed a new education support donation agreement with Jimunai County on the basis of the original support. According to the agreement, TAL Education Group will set up the "Outstanding Teachers and Students Incentive Program for Junior High School in 2021", providing 100,000 yuan in rewards to outstanding students and teachers in Jimunai County.
At the award ceremony, Comrade Pan Huafeng said that with the help of TAL Education Group, children in Jimunai County can enjoy excellent educational resources from across the country right at their doorstep. The input of the "Dual-Teacher Classroom" system has promoted the reform of the county's teaching and education model, alleviated the shortage of educational resources in Jimunai County, and to a certain extent, improved the quality of education.
Comrade Watehan Erles, on behalf of the Jimunai County Education System, expressed gratitude to TAL Education Group for its three-year support for education in Jimunai County, especially the introduction of the "Dual-Teacher Classroom" project, which has comprehensively promoted the development of basic education in Jimunai County.
In Comrade Wang Haizhen's view, TAL Education Group has provided both software and hardware support for the improvement of teaching quality in Jimunai County Junior Middle School, helped the school cultivate a team of highly qualified teachers, promoted classroom reform, and increased students' enthusiasm for learning.
Shamukhati, an outstanding student representative from Jimunai County Junior Middle School, shared his experience of taking the "Dual-Teacher Classroom" courses and said that he and his classmates have gained many effective methods and ideas, not only improving their academic performance but also broadening their horizons.
A representative of the parents of students from Jimunai County Junior Middle School also shared the benefits their children have gained from taking the "Dual-Teacher Classroom" courses and expressed the hope that more children could enjoy high-quality educational resources in the future.
While helping students improve their learning abilities, TAL Education Group has also selected and trained a group of "seed teachers" in the local area, providing them with online teaching and research training through the "Dual-Teacher Classroom", thereby promoting the development of more local teachers. The education support is moving from "blood transfusion" to "blood production".
