Xueersi Xpad Prepares to "Join Hands" with Teachers from 100 Schools

On June 11, Xueersi donated Xueersi Xpads to each teacher at Chang Keng Primary School in Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province. On June 13, Xueersi continued its effort by donating Xueersi Xpads to each teacher at the Erlangshan District Boarding School in Luding County, Sichuan Province. In the week after Dragon Boat Festival, Xueersi officially launched the "Hand-in-Hand" public welfare initiative by inaugurating the first and second "Xueersi Xpad Classrooms" countrywide. Over the next three years, Xueersi plans to provide Xpads to teachers at 100 schools and establish Xpad classrooms in collaboration with these schools to jointly explore effective applications of AI products in rural education, aiming to alleviate teachers' burdens through AI assistance.

Erlangshan District Boarding School and Chang Keng Primary School Receive Xpad Donations

Changkeng Primary School is a large rural boarding school in Jinyun County that not only emphasizes cultural education but also actively promotes ethnic culture and art education. The school has developed extracurricular classes in traditional Chinese music instruments and the Wu Opera heritage activities as its distinguishing projects. The students' multi-talented and positive outlook left a deep impression on the Xueersi staff who visited the site. However, the school has relatively young teachers with limited teaching experience. Ma HanJia, Secretary of the Party Branch and Principal of Chang Keng Primary School, expressed that they had conducted some preliminary research into Xueersi Xpad before the collaboration and hoped that in the future, the Xpad could play a significant role in lesson preparation, enriching learning resources, school-home communication, and family calls.

Located in Luding County, Sichuan Province, the Erlangshan District Boarding School was rebuilt after the 2022 Luding earthquake, overcoming various reconstruction challenges to actively plan and create special projects for the entire school. Currently, there are several hundred students boarding and studying at the school. During the donation ceremony, Li Peng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Luding County Education and Sports Bureau, stated in his speech that Xueersi's donation represents "not merely 92 Xpads, but the transmission of a spirit," and he hoped the donated Xpads would improve teaching quality and enrich campus culture, ensuring that each Xpad maximizes its benefit. In a boarding school, teachers not only manage on-class teaching but also dedicate significant effort to students' daily lives and growth. The "Hand-in-Hand" initiative by Xueersi hopes that with the aid of Xpads embedded with AI capabilities, teachers can reduce their workload in lesson preparation, homework grading, and other tasks, allowing them to focus more on each child's individual needs and growth. Xueersi donated 92 Xpads to Erlangshan District Boarding School and 60 to Changkeng Primary School, ensuring each teacher receives one, while the remaining Xpads are placed in classrooms to provide boarding students with diversified learning opportunities. To help teachers quickly master the Xpads, Xueersi dispatched product instructors for on-site training, introducing them to high-quality courses, a precise learning system, and intelligent learning tools embedded in the Xpads to better align with teachers' daily work and learning needs. For instance, course videos and knowledge point explanations in the Xpads can serve as a reference for teachers, and the AI grading function for Chinese and English compositions is expected to enhance teaching efficiency. The Xpad classrooms can also offer targeted knowledge expansion for students after class.
