On August 29, Xueersi officially launched its new product, the "Xueersi Learning and Practice Tablet". This color e-ink screen device is paired with Xueersi’s comprehensive content ecosystem and "graded practice", excelling particularly in the practice aspect, with the hope to help students "practice well and learn better."

Xueersi Learning and Practice Tablet innovatively achieves "one device for three roles," meaning that one machine can function as a learning practice device, a learning machine, and a reading machine, all providing a more professional and excellent user experience.

At the launch event, Zhao Puzheng, Head of Xueersi Intelligent Learning, shared that with the continuous development of electronic educational products, many families own multiple products such as learning practice devices, learning machines, and reading machines to meet different usage needs, but their bags are becoming heavier. During the development of the learning practice device, Xueersi considered whether one machine could solve these problems and better meet usage requirements in three major scenarios.

From a hardware perspective, simultaneously satisfying the needs for watching lessons, practicing, and reading requires an eye-protective yet smooth e-ink screen and a lightweight, safe electromagnetic pen to avoid electrical leakage due to habits such as children gnawing on the pen. However, the industry previously did not have a ready-made "e-ink screen + electromagnetic pen" solution. The Xueersi Learning Practice Device team, aiming for an ultimate learning interactive experience, innovatively developed a hardware solution that supports an eye-protective e-ink screen and is equipped with two types of pen tips.

Regarding the screen, to provide a smooth lesson-watching experience while protecting the eyes, a color eye-protective e-ink screen was chosen. The Xueersi Learning Practice Device uses the same e-ink eye-protective screen used in previous flagship learning machines, achieving TUV Rheinland flicker-free certification, TUV Rheinland low blue light hardware-level certification, Eyesafe Display Standard 2.0 certification, and SUCA e-ink eye protection certification. It can also adapt to multiple learning scenarios through different display modes such as True Color, Color E-ink, and Monochrome E-ink.

Users can quickly switch between learning practice, learning, and reading modes with a three-segment button on the top of the device, ensuring focus and immersion in each mode. Additionally, the learning practice device features a dedicated "XiaoSi button" on the front. With a simple press, it quickly summons the intelligent assistant XiaoSi for learning assistance without needing to be turned on.

Professional practice content to help children progress

Since the launch of its intelligent learning hardware products, Xueersi’s products have always been known for their "excellent content". The Xueersi Learning Practice Device also includes a comprehensive content ecosystem inside. In addition to Xueersi’s self-developed content, it includes true exam papers from schools in hundreds of cities and collaborates with well-known educational auxiliary brands like WuSan and WanWei. It is paired with Xueersi’s extensive library of over 1 billion high-quality questions and 1 million sets of real exam papers, continuously updated, and offering 60,000 yuan worth of educational resources for free practice.

On a foundation of massive content, the Xueersi Learning Practice Device also breaks down practice content into more digestible forms. Zhao Puzheng illustrated with "Xueersi Graded Practice", using a four-tier step-by-step practice model. Each practice set corresponds to an in-school knowledge point, dynamically adjusting questions, "practicing only what is not known, avoiding repeated practice". The "error cause analysis" function targets weaknesses based on the reasons for mistakes, using AI to extend learning and recommend similar questions, enhancing practice effectiveness.

Under the new curriculum standards, cultivating children’s reading abilities has become increasingly important. The reading mode of the Xueersi Learning and Practice Tablet offers a wide range of reading material, preloaded with over 3000 free selected good books, covering recommended reading lists from schools, the Ministry of Education, and globally selected books.
