01 Entering Rural Primary Schools, Spreading the Light of Science

If there is a real Aladdin's lamp in the world, which can shed a light that makes your dream come true, what would that light look like?

The students in Gansu answered, "Xueersi  Science."

On April 17, 2024, teachers from Xueersi Big Science and the Beijing Gui Xin Charity Foundation traveled to Guanghe County in Gansu Province, covering more than a thousand kilometers, to bring a light to the children of 16 primary schools.

We，Xueersi Science， collaborated with some universities and national key laboratories to continuously and systematically provide scientific readings, science exhibition models, online maritime science videos watching, and organize campus and regional engineering practice competitions.

We delved into rural primary schools, donating 800 maritime science books and 272 ship model materials to the children of 16 schools.

With the theme of maritime，we used ship models as teaching aids to carefully explain the basic principles and structure of ships to the students, and guide them in hands-on disassembly and assembly of the models to deepen their understanding of the ships.

We imparted the concepts and methodologies of "science education" to local teachers, giving children in the central and western regions the opportunity to master scientific knowledge, develop an interest in science learning, and enhance their core scientific literacy through a rich experience of scientific activities.

When the souls passionate about science first collided in the science classroom, the eager eyes of the children shone brightly, and many scientific dreams quietly took root.

"I want to build a ship that can take my parents on a tour!" A fifth-grader from Chengdong Primary School in Guanghe County, Gansu Province exclaimed excitedly.

Some say that only children in big cities can access scientific resources, and for children in rural areas, it is as difficult as walking to the heavens. But we firmly believe that education has no barriers, and the light of science can clear all obstacles in the world.

02 Science Treasure Box Plan, Drawing a Beautiful Future Together

Science is never out of reach; every heart that loves science deserves to be cherished.

In 2024,“Treasure Box Plan”of ,Xueersi Science brought high-tech "driving" pneumatic cars to Maijiaxiang Primary School in Guanghe County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province.

Dreams should be free and colorful. When children draw their dreams on water with their tender hands and transfer those vibrant colors to canvas bags, every laughing face is filled with the joy of exploration.

The small hands covered in paint seemed to be showcasing their colorful dreams to us. They carefully wielded their brushes to depict the vast sky in their hearts, with each stroke of graffiti telling the secrets in their hearts and conveying their pure voices.

When we were young, we always fantasized about driving our tech cars through the streets in a future era of advanced technology.

This innocence is not out of reach.

In 2024, the Xueersi Science Treasure Box Plan brought high-tech "driving" pneumatic cars to Maijiaxiang Primary School in Guanghe County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province.

When the teacher explained the operation method and the science behind the cars in class, the children's faces lit up with surprise and joy.

Every curiosity is a seed for exploring the future; every hands-on practice is building a bridge to dreams.

In the process of hands-on practice, the children developed their skills, cultivated their thinking and problem-solving abilities.

### 03 Drawing the Science in Your Heart, Crossing Regional Boundaries

Here's a sheet of paper and a pen, come and engage in a collision of scientific souls!

In 2024, Xueersi Big Science worked with the Gui Xin Charity Foundation, connect children from cities and villages closely through science to engage in a cross-regional exchange of ideas.

A total of 55,827 Xueersi Big Science learners participated in the "Big Draw Science" activity, using mind maps to illustrate the science in their hearts.

At this moment, the borderless aspect of education became concrete. Thousands of children from different regions communicated their thoughts, actions, dreams, and even souls through mind maps.

This dialogue from the depths of the soul not only popularized mind mapping in rural areas but also enhanced the scientific literacy of urban and rural children. The bonds between the children from two regions were strengthened in another way.

### 04 Hatching with Hands, Bringing Natural Science to Campus

Only by witnessing the incubation of life can we feel the wonder of nature.

In 2024, Xueersi Big Science brought a unique "new semester gift" - 800 turtle hatching kits - to the children of Mengjiayuan Township Central Primary School in Hebei Province.

The children participated in the hatching process and observed the budding of life. By observing the growth and behavior of animals, they broadly learned about biology and ecology.

Witnessing the miracle of life firsthand, this practical learning method was more vivid and in-depth than textbook knowledge, greatly enhancing their curiosity and desire for exploration.

Perhaps, just as we hoped, the small turtle eggs have already quietly planted a love for science and respect for life in their hearts.

As time passes and the turtles grow, the children will gain valuable knowledge and experience, learning to carefully nurture weak lives, feeling the mysteries of nature, and enhancing their practical abilities and scientific qualities.

We hope that in this wonderful and real life education, the magic and beauty of nature deeply root in every child's heart, inspiring them to keep moving forward.

### 05 Caring for Children with Serious Illnesses, Cherishing Every Life

Every child is the most beautiful angel, deserving the best care.

In 2024, Xueersi Big Science is accompanied by love, upholding the concept of "Education Heals", and illuminating the hearts of seriously ill children with the light of knowledge.

Every Wednesday, Xueersi Big Science's teachers would go to the event site in Shunyi, Beijing, punctually. The journey from the office location to the event site is quite far, taking over five hours round trip each time, meaning the teachers need to complete their regular jobs with overtime while shuttling between teaching points and office locations.

Despite this, the teachers always maintained a sincere heart, tirelessly working to bring a perfect scientific experience class to the children. Every time they saw the children's faces beaming with smiles and curiosity and their eager eyes, the teachers felt that all the hard work was worth it.

To ensure the teaching aids in the science classes could fully stimulate the children's interest, the teachers even paid out of their own pockets to buy various new and interesting experimental materials.

Each time they walked into the classroom with heavy equipment boxes, seeing the children's expectant eyes and hearing their joyful laughter, the teachers' fatigue seemed to vanish instantly.

They firmly believed that each small science experiment could not only bring joy to the children but also plant the seeds of dreams of pursuing science in their hearts.

The main teachers of Xueersi Big Science often working with other volunteer teachers,who were fulling with love，went into the world of children with serious illnesses. With vivid and interesting courses, they brought the warmth and power of knowledge.

Every explanation is a comfort to the heart.

Every smiling response is a testimony to mutual care.

In this silent guard, we weave hope together, lighting the way forward.

In the process of deeply cultivating public welfare, we also adhere to the original intention of providing high-quality educational resources for children, meticulously developing high-quality teaching aids.

Xueersi Big Science's "homemade walkie-talkie," with its excellent design, innovative products, and safe concept, won two significant honors: the renowned French Design Award and the silver award of the MUSE Design Awards, dubbed the "Oscars of Design."
