On June 3, in Bijie, Guizhou, the Education Department of the Bijie Municipal Government of Guizhou Province signed a pairing and assistance agreement with the Future Education Foundation. He Yunjiang, Minister of the Propaganda Department of Bijie City, and Zhang Jin, Deputy Director of the Education Bureau, as well as representatives from the Education Technology Bureau, Basic Education Department, and Teaching and Research Department of the Qixingguan District, attended the signing ceremony. According to the agreement, over the next three years, the Future Education Foundation will leverage the group's educational resources and technological advantages to integrate high-quality resources and introduce the "Hope Online" educational platform to Bijie, Guizhou. Through a combination of online and offline formats and utilizing the "dual-teacher" live broadcast model to deliver high-quality teaching staff, as well as multidimensional and comprehensive support methods such as AI intelligent teachers and teacher training, the overall teaching and educational capabilities of preschool, primary, and junior high education in Bijie will be enhanced and developed. The Future Education's support for education in Bijie began in June 2018, as they collaborated with the China Development Research Foundation's "Rural Kindergarten Plan" to improve educational quality. The Future Education Foundation initiated the "Starting Point Plan" in December 2018 to support the development of preschool education in impoverished areas. Over the past year, the Future Education has been involved in the construction of kindergartens in Bijie, developing tailored training courses for teachers based on the latest teaching concepts and methods, and introducing high-quality preschool education resources to Bijie through the "Hope Online" educational platform. The support provided by the Future Education in the preschool education phase has been highly recognized and appreciated by the Education Department of Bijie. The Deputy Director, Zhang Jin, stated, "Education is a major priority for the country and the party. Bijie has always insisted on implementing a strategy for prioritizing education and using it as an important tool for ensuring and improving people's livelihoods. The Future Education has brought hope and vitality to the development of preschool education in Bijie." This signing signifies a deepening of the educational cooperation between the two parties, extending from preschool education to compulsory education. Over the next three years, the Future Education will fully participate in the construction and development of education in Bijie, injecting more ample momentum into the city's education development. The Future Education will further open up the “Hope Online” educational platform over the next three years to comprehensively cover elementary and junior high schools in Bijie, enabling more children in the city to have access to high-quality education. Secondly, the Future Education will introduce high-quality teaching personnel to Bijie, using the Bijie No.1 Middle School Junior School as a pilot site to offer dual-teacher live broadcast courses every week, bringing renowned teachers to the classrooms in Bijie through the internet. The assistance provided by the Future Education will also extend to deeply impoverished areas of Bijie, including Nayong, Weining, and Hezhang. As 2019 is a critical year for China to achieve its first centenary goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects and winning the tough battle against poverty, the Future Education, as a leading domestic education technology enterprise, is actively responding to the country's call. Up to the present, the Future Education's educational poverty alleviation efforts have covered areas such as Foping in Shaanxi, Xiongxian in Hebei, Wangmo in Guizhou, Liangshan in Sichuan, and Jeminay in Xinjiang, where they have cooperated with local governments to implement "Education Informatization Projects" and have explored and established flexible and operative education poverty alleviation models. In Bijie, Guizhou, the anti-poverty initiatives have significant relevance to the national poverty alleviation efforts, as it was the earliest area in my country to establish a regional development and poverty alleviation pilot zone. Drawing from past education poverty alleviation experiences, the Future Education will ensure that more children in Bijie have access to high-quality education, contributing to the city’s education and poverty alleviation efforts.
