On August 8th, TAL Education Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Development and Reform Commission of Xiamen Municipality (hereinafter referred to as Xiamen Development and Reform Commission). TAL will leverage the unique location, policies, and environmental advantages of Xiamen, fully exploit its own exploration experience in the field of education technology, and work together with Xiamen to create a new national education hub.

Zhang Zhihong, Director of the Xiamen Development and Reform Commission, and Cai Xiang, Vice President and President of Industrial Fund of TAL Education Group, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.

Xiamen Mayor Zhuang Jiahan, Xiamen Executive Vice Mayor Huang Qiang, Siming District Governor Xia Changwen, Huang Jie, Deputy Secretary-General and Director of the Office of the Xiamen Municipal Government, Zhang Zhihong, Director of the Xiamen Development and Reform Commission, Guo Xianwen, Director of the Xiamen Education Bureau, Wan Yiting, Chief Public Affairs Officer of TAL Education Group, and Cai Xiang, Vice President and President of Industrial Fund of TAL Education Group, attended the signing ceremony.

According to the agreement, TAL Education Group's teacher base, industrial fund, smart education, education complex, future stars and other industry sectors will gradually settle in Xiamen, and plan to build the regional headquarters in Siming District of Xiamen. The Xiamen government will actively support the landing of TAL Education Group projects, strive to build "children's learning paradise, parents' cultural living room", create a "livable and humanistic Xiamen", and promote the vigorous development of the local education industry.
