On August 31, the three-day World Artificial Intelligence Conference officially concluded. At the closing ceremony, the Shanghai Changning District and TAL Education Group formally signed an agreement to jointly promote the construction of a smart education demonstration platform.

In the presence of Shanghai Mayor Ying Yong and other leaders, Wang Weiren, Secretary of the Changning District Committee, and Bai Yunfeng, CEO of TAL Education Group, took the stage to complete the signing.

This cooperation will fully leverage the advantages of both parties in their respective fields, and comprehensively strengthen the optimal allocation of spatial resources, technology and talent resources, and the application of smart education scenarios, based on the principle of "complementary advantages and win-win development", to jointly create a development platform radiating the Yangtze River Delta and even the whole country based in Changning.

The two parties will also jointly explore innovative models and high-quality applications of "AI + education", to create a regional modern education hub and a smart education demonstration platform. They will also explore providing high-quality educational resources and targeted personalized teaching services for Changning District, jointly improving the training of top talents and the equalization of educational resources.

During the conference, Wang Weiren and other leaders from the Changning District Committee, including Vice District Mayor Zhong Xiaomin, specifically visited the TAL Education Group booth to learn in detail about the latest educational technology products of TAL Education Group's Xueersi online school and Magic Future School, and expressed affirmation.

At this World Artificial Intelligence Conference, TAL Education Group also signed a strategic framework agreement for smart education policy-enterprise cooperation with the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and as a joint initiator, launched the "AI Aids Education Healthy Development Initiative" with the Shanghai Digital Education Museum.
