The seminar group experienced the WISROOM smart classroom independently developed by 100tal.
Wang Lu introduced that the Smart Education Division of 100tal takes education informatization 2.0 as the guiding principle, hoping to explore high-level comprehensive solutions for education informatization, and promote the balanced development of education resources in impoverished areas by continuously accumulating practical experience and technological advantages.
In several smart education projects that have been implemented, the 100tal Smart Education team, starting from improving the quality of classroom teaching, combines teaching and research content, technological research and development results with the teaching activities and student learning behavior of public school teachers. Wang Wei said, "100tal Smart Education insists that teaching and research are the core, informatization tools are the leverage, and school system is the guarantee. Smart classrooms, double-teacher classrooms, and other applications have become effective tools to improve teachers' information literacy, enhance students' learning interest, and solve the problem of balanced education resources."
Around the theme of "technology assisting in balanced education development," Man Chao introduced the detailed solution of 100tal - "Hope Online" to the seminar group. "Hope Online" is an educational charity platform launched by 100tal in early 2017, with the vision of building an online "Hope Project" in the Internet era, aiming to "use technology to promote balanced education development."
The "Hope Online" platform relies on 100tal's rich experience in educational research, integrates the brand teaching service resources of 100tal's subsidiaries such as Xueersi Peiyou, Xueersi Online School, and Aiqidao, and explores unique education poverty alleviation models through practical operations with local characteristics. The platform also builds a three-dimensional and all-round education charity support system. With the support of three major service systems, which are aggregating high-quality educational resources, building a stable technological foundation, and providing support from talents in multiple fields, this platform provides a large amount of high-quality resources, stable cutting-edge technology, and professional and excellent volunteers to areas with scarce educational resources, serving students, teachers, schools and education departments, sharing high-quality educational resources in all aspects, and creating a "technology + public welfare" educational ecosystem.
