On October 25, the National Poverty Alleviation Network Conference and the Liangshan Action for Network Poverty Alleviation were held in Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province. The Tomorrow Group was invited to participate in this event and signed a cooperation agreement on the network poverty alleviation project with the Liangshan Prefecture People's Government at the conference. AI Mandarin Teaching System Ensures Children's Advantage in Learning

        Liangshan Prefecture is the largest area inhabited by the Yi ethnic group in China. For Yi children, mastering Mandarin is an important foundation for continuing to receive good education and engaging in more communication and learning with the outside world. In his speech at the conference, Hong Tianyun, Deputy Head of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation, pointed out that truly mastering Mandarin is essential for children to have an advantage in learning.

        In September of this year, Tomorrow Group initiated the "AI Teacher Smart Education" poverty alleviation project with the Zhaojue County Government in Liangshan Prefecture. Based on research into the local education development in Zhaojue, Tomorrow Group's Xueersi Online School, in combination with its own educational research and program development resources, independently developed an "AI Mandarin Teaching" system. This system uses Tomorrow Group's speech recognition and assessment technology, with a speech recognition accuracy rate of over 99%. To enhance children's interest in learning, Tomorrow Group also cooperated with the local education authorities and language committee to deeply localize the learning content, integrating commonly used vocabulary in daily life into the bilingual Yi-Mandarin learning of preschool children and elementary school students using a "picture + Yi-Mandarin bilingual pronunciation" model. In addition, Tomorrow Group provided Xueersi Online School's full range of online courses for more than 50,000 primary and secondary school students in Zhaojue County and donated 2 million RMB in project funds, equipping 124 teaching points in the entire county with a complete set of computer equipment, pre-installing relevant courses and Mandarin learning software on the computers, allowing children in Zhaojue to have access to high-quality education resources similar to children in top-tier cities.

Signing the Network Poverty Alleviation Agreement to Help Improve Education in the Entire Liangshan Prefecture

        In order to help improve the education level of the entire Liangshan Prefecture and allow more children to enjoy high-quality educational resources, Tomorrow Group signed a network poverty alleviation agreement with the Liangshan Prefecture People's Government at the event. They will provide the "AI Mandarin Teaching System" developed by Xueersi Online School to more schools in Liangshan Prefecture, enabling more children to improve their learning ability starting with Mandarin. In addition, Tomorrow Group will also deploy the "Hope Online" platform educational resources in the entire prefecture, sharing high-quality educational resources from primary school to high school, allowing local children to also enjoy good courses. At the same time, Tomorrow Group will open up teaching resources and provide specialized training for teachers on the use of teaching equipment, enhancing teachers' teaching capabilities and improving the local education level from the source. In addition, Tomorrow Group plans to introduce the children's quality courses independently developed by Tomorrow Group to kindergartens in Liangshan Prefecture and provide training to kindergarten teachers.

        At the typical case exchange meeting on the afternoon of October 25, the case submitted by Tomorrow Group, "The 'AI Teacher Smart Education' project was implemented in Zhaojue, and Yi children have Mandarin teachers," was named the best practice case in the 2018 network poverty alleviation best practice case collection activities. This is another honor that Tomorrow Group has gained in the field of poverty alleviation.

        In recent years, Tomorrow Group has actively responded to the country's precise poverty alleviation and network intelligence policies, carrying out educational poverty alleviation practices in multiple poor areas. In Foping County, Shaanxi Province, Tomorrow Group opened up educational resources to the entire county, achieving full coverage of educational resources from kindergartens to high schools. In Jimunai County, Xinjiang, Tomorrow Group collaborated with the China Development Research Foundation to carry out the education resource universalization project and teaching application popularization project, creating "Smart Village Schools" and dual-teacher classrooms to promote local educational progress. In Wangmo, Guizhou, Tomorrow Group launched a pilot project at Dayi Middle School, providing students with long-distance "one-on-one" online tutoring, with both hardware and software support as well as faculty support.
