On November 26, 2019, the "Future Learners" Learning Trend Observation Conference of Xueersi was successfully held during the GES 2019 Future Education Conference.
At the conference, the keynote speakers from Xueersi·Aizhikang (hereinafter referred to as Aizhikang) conducted in-depth discussions around the theme of "Combining Cognitive Science and AI to Reshape 1-on-1 Learning," focusing on the application of Aizhikang's "iProgress Personalized Learning System" in classroom teaching and learning.
Xueersi "Future Learners" Learning Trend Observation Conference
During the conference, the Head of Good Future Silicon Valley R&D Department, Bao Beibei, and the Head of Aizhikang's Junior High School Science Product Department, Xu Mingzhu, respectively shared the functions and experiences of educational technology products such as Xueersi assessment system, AI smart classroom, and interactive courseware. They discussed how Aizhikang opens the "black box" of 1-on-1 teaching, captures learning process data, and externalizes learning outcomes.
The iProgress personalized learning system integrates cutting-edge technology in 1-on-1 teaching to reconstruct the learning process, providing scientific personalized diagnoses for each student and offering exclusive personalized solutions to further enhance learning efficiency through functions and experiences like Xueersi assessment system, AI smart classroom, and interactive courseware.
Technology empowers education to make differentiated teaching more scientific and efficient
As a high-end brand of personalized education under Good Future with 12 years of educational research accumulation, Aizhikang has been persistently exploring the development of educational technology. At this conference, Aizhikang unveiled for the first time the "Xueersi assessment system," a research and development achievement of Good Future's Silicon Valley R&D Department and Aizhikang after 9 months of development.
The Xueersi assessment system fully integrates the core literacy requirements of compulsory education curriculum standards with Bloom's cognitive taxonomy to form a system that can be widely used to measure and evaluate the cognitive abilities of primary and secondary school students. With over 380,000 real questions in the question bank, more than 5,000 high-quality test questions are selected to ensure that each assessment closely follows the key points of teaching and exams.
The assessments are divided into entry assessments, pre-midterm assessments, post-final assessments, which allow the timely discovery of students' learning weaknesses and the precise identification of the root causes to help teachers and students efficiently solve problems.
It is reported that this high-tech product integrates the R&D capabilities of Good Future's Silicon Valley R&D Department's professional scientific team and Aizhikang's years of teaching experience, empowering 1-on-1 learning through "same score, different answer time," "same score, different abilities," "same score, different knowledge mastery," and "same score, different potential" in four dimensions.
Bao Beibei pointed out, "The 'Xueersi assessment system' tool visualizes students' answering strategies. By restoring the time spent on each question, it distinguishes between 'proficient but familiar,' 'proficient but unfamiliar,' 'unable but stubborn,' and 'unwilling to give up.' It excavates and understands the invisible data in traditional tests and assessments, helping Aizhikang teachers scientifically customize exam strategies for students and improve their answering habits."

At the same time, by effectively utilizing knowledge graph and AI technology, students' incorrect questions and knowledge difficulties can accurately judge the students' "basic skill" mastery situation, visualize the weak points in the overall knowledge framework, and allow teachers to clearly see the problems and tailor personalized learning plans for each student to improve learning efficiency.
This tool is currently in use in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Xi'an, Tianjin, and other campuses, with over 3,500 diagnostic tests in the summer and fall semesters.
Visible progress makes personalized education more scientific
In the 1-on-1 teaching scenario, children and teachers attend classes together, but parents are not clear about the actual situation of the classes, this is the "black box effect" in 1-on-1 classrooms.
In 2018, Aizhikang launched the "Open Classroom" feature, which uses AI technology to empower teachers. Through voice and image recognition, machines detect the teachers' board notes, teacher-student interaction frequency, and teacher encouragement frequency in class, allowing teachers to optimize their teaching methods through self-assessment and improve the quality of teaching.

At the same time, through this feature, it can accurately test the students' initiative in the classroom, making the child the focus of the classroom and stimulating their learning motivation.
Xu Mingzhu introduced that to make the "AI Smart Classroom" more accurate, Aizhikang has also launched the "Thousand Hours Plan."
The "Thousand Hours Plan" was first launched in Aizhikang's Shenzhen and Shanghai branches. Led by the branch principals, the heads of teacher, academic affairs, and sales departments followed up, forming the "Class Observation Team" of Aizhikang. They watched at least 1,000 hours of live video of teachers teaching, recorded and analyzed the problems, and collectively "inspected and rectified," improving the overall teaching quality.

At the conference, the last product introduced was "Interactive Courseware." Interactive courseware includes both audiovisual materials and simulated experiments that can be operated directly. Using sound, images, animations, and graphics, it caters to auditory, visual, or kinesthetic learners' diverse learning preferences, enriching the presentation of 1-on-1 classrooms, enhancing children's learning interest and concentration, making children's learning more efficient.

Leading exploration of the future education model to reshape 1-on-1 learning
Currently, several educational technology products of Aizhikang have been implemented in over 100 teaching centers in 18 cities nationwide and will continue to be promoted throughout the entire Xueersi system and even open to the whole society, achieving more scientific and larger-scale differentiated teaching to help 1-on-1 classrooms teach and learn better.
Focusing on "personalized education to create possibilities," Aizhikang has restructured the entire traditional 1-on-1 learning process based on its independently developed "iProgress Personalized Learning System." By applying artificial intelligence technology, it accurately understands the problems beneath the "teaching iceberg," transparentizes the performance of "teaching and learning," and continuously fulfills the promise of "making progress visible."
