The British Philharmonic Orchestra is collaborating with Good Future to promote online music education.

On August 19, Michael Fuller, Chairman and General Manager of the British Philharmonic Orchestra, David Sunderland, Director of Corporate Cooperation, Alexandra Brerley, Director of Education, and Thomas Gillett, Director of Digital Products, visited TAL Education Group. Wan Yi, the Head of Public Affairs at TAL, and others attended the event. The two sides conducted a comprehensive review of the classical music course project jointly created by the British Philharmonic Orchestra and Xueersi Online School under TAL Education Group, and further discussed the cooperation between the two parties in the areas of "music + education + technology" in the future.

The Philharmonic Orchestra experienced TAL's independently developed WISROOM smart classroom

Before the discussion, the Philharmonic Orchestra visited the TAL exhibition hall. Wu Jundong, Secretary General of the TAL European and American Alumni Association, gave a detailed introduction to the development history of TAL to the guests. The guests also experienced TAL's independently developed WISROOM smart classroom, AI teacher Mandarin teaching, and other educational technology products.

During the visit and experience, the British Philharmonic Orchestra repeatedly praised TAL and Xueersi Online School's education technology products. Michael Fuller stated that TAL and Xueersi Online School's original intention to expand the coverage of high-quality educational resources through online education is highly consistent with the British Philharmonic Orchestra's goal of promoting classical music to children. He hopes to apply TAL and Xueersi Online School's vivid, interesting, and enriching online technology to the future cooperation between the two parties, presenting a more personalized and efficient online music course.

The Philharmonic Orchestra and TAL conduct discussions on cooperation

In August 2018, Xueersi Online School became the exclusive online education partner of the British Philharmonic Orchestra in China, jointly creating classical music enlightenment courses taught by music masters. After a year of polishing, in August this year, the "British Philharmonic Orchestra Classical Music Course" officially went live on Xueersi Online School. This is the result of the deep integration of Xueersi Online School's innovative technology with online classrooms, bringing master-level music edification and training to children in front of the screen through online education technology, allowing pure and elegant classical music to break through time and space boundaries.

"We are delighted to see that the course jointly developed with Xueersi Online School has provided us with a rare opportunity to explore the space of classical music, allowing us to discover the possibility of the collision between music and educational technology. At the same time, it also gives children not only musical knowledge but also lifelong beneficial skills," said Alexandra Brerley.

Finally, the two parties reached an agreement on the direction of future cooperation. In the future, based on the resource advantages of the Philharmonic Orchestra, the two parties will fully leverage the powerful "amplification" effect of online education, utilize the power of the Internet and technology to share the inspiring energy of classical music, explore the culture and history behind symphony art, continuously discover more possibilities of "music + education + technology," and open the door to the world of music for children.

The "British Philharmonic Orchestra Classical Music Course" is one of the components of Xueersi Online School's literacy education system. Currently, the first season of courses has been launched, and the other three seasons of courses "Getting to Know Musicians," "Master Speaks Masterpieces," and "20th Century Classical Music" will be released continuously.

In addition to music courses, Xueersi Online School also integrates high-quality global educational resources to create a high-standard and high-starting-point literacy education platform for children. The teaching content covers more than twenty categories including music, artificial intelligence, aesthetics, astronomy, military, and history, using interdisciplinary content and rich knowledge extension to guide children to build a wider vision and outlook based on their own interests, thus cultivating "lifelong beneficial skills."
