During the 2019 Beijing Expo, exploring the future model of education such as "AI+ education," the products of Good Future's Xueersi Online School, such as the "AI Teacher Language Learning System," "Paper and Pen Smart Classroom," and "Future Cloud Platform" were showcased. Among them, the "AI Teacher Language Learning System" was awarded the "Science and Technology Innovation Service Demonstration Case" at the 2019 Beijing Expo. It is said that this system integrates technologies such as facial recognition, speech recognition and evaluation, OCR handwriting recognition, and has been applied in educational public welfare to deliver quality educational resources to remote and impoverished areas. During this session of the Beijing Expo, the AI system "AI Teacher" developed independently by Xueersi Online School, a K-12 online education brand under Good Future, has attracted attention. Bai Yunfeng, President of Good Future, introduced the AI Teacher has a language learning system, one-on-one English, intelligent correction, and VR teaching experience. Its basic functions include facial recognition, speech recognition and evaluation, and OCR image recognition technology. With the support of these technologies, the AI teacher provides great potential for future education. In the context of China's information-based basic education 2.0 era, Good Future launched the "AI Teacher Smart Education" basic education project for the entire county's school students in Zhaojue County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province. The underlying population of the Yi nationality in Zhaojue County is 98.1%, with a very low rate of Mandarin literacy. Ordinary Mandarin education has become one of the most difficult tasks in the region. In response to the call for educational poverty alleviation, Xueersi Online School initiated the "AI Teacher Smart Education" basic education project for Zhaojue County, providing free Mandarin education services and high-quality course resources for all students in the county, presenting common words in a "picture + bilingual pronunciation" format. The AI Teacher language learning system is now being implemented in 71 schools, 124 teaching points, and nearly 60,000 students in Zhaojue County, Sichuan Province. In addition to the "AI Teacher Language Learning System," Good Future also exhibited other new "AI+ education" products, such as the "WISROOM Xueersi Smart Classroom Solution," "Xueersi Online School AI Teacher," and "Paper and Pen Smart Classroom." In the past year, Good Future has benefited 14,000 students and 4,000 teachers in 8 impoverished counties in 4 provinces through live broadcast and AI teacher methods. The hope is to use AI, big data, and other educational technology to play an active role in providing fair and quality education for more people in the new era of "AI+."
